Stone House | Greek Island by Jim Greenberg captures moments of interest during his four-year process of building a stone house on Patmos in the Greek Dodecanese, a volcanic archipelago of twelve rugged islands strung along the Turkish coast. He  conveys to the viewer glimpses of the physical process and of the personalities involved, with the feeling-tone of this particular place. There were many small stories along the way. Jim reveals a few experiences that were in some way revelatory or meaningful to him as the designer during the learning curve of this project, and how these experiences demonstrated four aspects of creation: destruction, obsession, surrender, and chance.
